 Albion's £2million record buy, Jason arrived at The
Hawthorns with an impressive record in his two seasons at Bristol Rovers.
Rejected by Wolves as a youngster, Jason is back in the Midlands aiming to
prove the Molineux men made a big mistake. Jason's a forward who takes so much
stick from the opposition and yet gets such little protection from the match
officials. In spite of that, when Jason runs at defences, he creates havoc with
his pace, and he also banged in one of the most spectacular goals of the
2000/01 season, the opener at home to Nottingham Forest just before Christmas.
